3.0T SUPERCHARGED STAGE 1 The IE Stage 1 ECU calibration delivers significant performance upgrades, yielding up to 416HP & 391TQ, transforming your supercharged 3.0L into a genuine high-performance vehicle. Engineered to seamlessly integrate with stock hardware and compatible with basic add-ons such as intake, exhaust, and heat exchanger, eliminating the need for additional tuning adjustments. STAGE 2 SINGLE PULLEY Tailored for single pulley setups, Stage 2 files are calibrated to accommodate a smaller supercharger pulley, resulting in enhanced power output of up to 492HP with minimal hardware upgrades. Achieving this output is made possible by driving the supercharger at a higher speed via the smaller pulley.
DUAL PULLEY STAGE 2 Experience the ultimate power potential of your factory supercharger with a Stage 2 dual pulley setup. This configuration maximizes performance by combining the smaller 57.5mm press-fit supercharger pulley with a 188mm crank pulley, achieving a maximized dual pulley ratio. Alternatively, you can opt for a single 207mm overdrive crank pulley, providing a dual pulley setup in one product, resulting in an impressive power output of up to 548HP!
E40 ETHANOL DUAL PULLEY SETUP Ethanol boasts abundant oxygen content, burns at lower temperatures, and exhibits high resistance to engine knock. These properties unlock significant tuning potential, resulting in substantial horsepower and torque gains compared to conventional gasoline. Moreover, ethanol is more readily accessible (in most states) and cost-effective than race fuel. By utilizing the factory fuel system in conjunction with an upgraded HPFP (high-pressure fuel pump), you can achieve a blend of 2/5 E85 and 3/5 91/93 premium gasoline, creating an E40 ethanol blend capable of delivering an impressive 548HP & 525ft-lbs of torque!
RAISED RPM LIMITS The powerband has been finely tuned to capitalize on the enhanced boost curve and pulley ratios. RPM limits have been raised across all gears to 7200RPM for Stage 1 and Stage 2 single pulley tunes, and further to 7350RPM for dual pulley setups. In DSG-equipped vehicles, shifts will occur slightly prior to reaching the new engine RPM limits.
2-STEP LAUNCH CONTROL The 2-step launch control is an advanced motorsport ECU calibration feature integrated into the ECU software. This drag racing-style launch significantly enhances your 60-foot time and acceleration off the line by gradually building engine load and boost from a standstill, granting a considerable advantage over vehicles of similar power in competitive scenarios. This feature is available as an upgrade for single pulley tunes and is included with dual pulley files.
EXHAUST CRACKLE OPTION Enhance the auditory experience of your supercharged engine with an aggressive, sporty sound. Activating the exhaust crackle feature provides your 3.0T with a head-turning performance exhaust overrun, delivering satisfying pops and crackles when you rev the engine, decelerate, or lift off the throttle during gear changes. This optional feature is included with both Stage 2 single and dual pulley tunes. For the most pronounced pops and bangs, it is recommended to pair this feature with aftermarket downpipes or a catback exhaust system.
FUEL DRAIN FEATURE Higher octane fuels like 100, 104, and ethanol offer significant power boosts for race days but can be costly or challenging to mix for everyday driving. To simplify fuel swapping, IE has integrated a convenient feature allowing you to drain your fuel tank completely. Just connect a few feet of 5/16” fuel hose to the feed line beneath the engine bay and activate the drain button in the extras menu on the IE POWERlink Flash Wizard software. This feature is available across all ECU stages. It's important to note that fuel drain is an advanced racing function, so exercise caution and follow fuel-safe practices whenever working with fuel or fuel lines. MANUAL FAN CONTROL In drag racing scenarios, maintaining optimal power and competitiveness relies on keeping the supercharger cool between runs. IE's optional fan control feature aids in reducing temperatures during staging. It allows you to activate the fans and coolant pump at maximum power on demand using the cruise control stalk. Simply engage the radiator fans at full power to dissipate heat from the supercharger, effectively lowering intake air temperatures before the next run. Presently, this feature is available for B8.5 and C7.5 (facelift non-CREC) models only. CATALYST-OPTIMIZED EGT Even in stock configurations, the factory catalytic converters (CATs) are a known weak point of the 3.0T platform, often leading to expensive repairs or potential engine damage. IE's pump fuel (91 & 93) files for all stages are meticulously calibrated with the safest air-to-fuel mixtures possible to prevent knocking and maintain cooler exhaust gas temperatures. This added precaution provides an extra layer of protection for the delicate catalytic converters, a feature not commonly found in many competitor tunes. It's important to note that race fuel files, launch control, and exhaust crackle features are intended for motorsports use and may compromise catalytic converter safety.
