HP Tuners Credits
HP Tuners operates on a credit-based licensing system where credits serve as the currency for acquiring licenses for various modules within a vehicle. Licensing a module grants you the capability to tune it. The number of credits required to obtain a license varies depending on the vehicle.
For many vehicles, licensing the ECM/PCM typically requires (2) credits, with the possibility of additional options such as a TCM, FICM, or CCM.
Before finalizing your credits purchase, please ensure the following steps are completed:
1. Download and install the latest version of VCM Suite from .
2. Connect your MPVI Std/Pro device to your laptop/PC.
3. While connected to the internet, launch VCM Editor and navigate to HELP, then RESYNC INTERFACE.
4. Your current credits total will be displayed.
Please note that an internet connection is required for this process as it will update your MPVI Std/Pro firmware to the latest version.
